Undying Hero—Zombie Man to most of the community—arrived in the May 2026 Cosmic Update as an Early Access fighter with a hybrid axe and gun kit. Equal stats still bind the character: shared HP, M1 chains, dashes, F block, wall combos after the fourth hit, and awakening rules from Getting Started. Base moves (verify names in-client)

Grave Maker

Axe slam into a sustained spin—your gap-close and pressure window. Use it when you already won neutral spacing, not as fullscreen gamble. Pair with wall geometry from Wall Combo Guide when the launch angle favors follow-up M1s.

Point Blank

Shotgun-style burst at close range. Punish frozen opponents or extend after a confirmed knockdown. Whiffing Point Blank in neutral is a common way to eat Hero Hunter converts—respect dash escapes on Controls.

Blast Breaker

Dual-pistol barrage for extension and chip. Strong when the opponent is already in hitstun; weak when thrown into held block—Blocking and Defense.

Crossfire

Strafing pistol pattern often described as a counter-style tool. Strong for mid-range pressure when the target can be hit; community notes emphasize it may fail on certain ragdoll states—do not autopilot it as a wake-up answer.

Starter combo logic (not patch-perfect)

Think in roles, not memorized strings:

1. Open with Grave Maker when you have close range and a wall behind them.
2. Extend with Blast Breaker when the opponent is locked in hitstun—not when they are holding block.
3. Finish or reset with Point Blank when you are in face range after a confirm.
4. Use Crossfire when you need mid-range pressure or a counter window— not as a substitute for block respect.

Some players intentionally miss one Blast Breaker bullet for timing into dash M1—lab that in private servers only until it is consistent.

M1 and wall habits

Undying Hero still uses the universal fourth M1 wall grammar. Do not skip wall training because guns feel safer at range. Ranked opponents will walk you into geometry if you only poke—Maps for coastal sightlines.
